Cone Flowers

My purple coneflowers (Echinacea) are starting to open up this week.  They are going to look nice with the purple Forever and Ever Hydrangea next to them. 

Endless Summer Hydrangeas

This gorgeous picture is from the Endless Summer website. I love the idea of creating a hedge out of hydrangeas.  I've never seen this combination togehter before.  From left to right, The Original, Twist-n-Shout, and Blushing Bride.

Pink Forever and Ever Hydrangea

Finally, one of my hydrangeas is pink.  I applied lime to my soil this spring and most of my hydrangeas are still blue (with the exception of the purplish one that I previously posted about) and the two Forever and Ever Hydrangeas in my backyard which are now opening with pink blooms.

My new Limelight is starting to open

This is one of the Limelight Hydrangeas that I bought at the beginning of June.  It is about 2 feet tall right now and very healthy looking.  The buds are really starting to open up now.  Here is a close up.
